Why this directory exists
Web scraping tools are hard to compare from their own websites. Many promise to collect any data from any site, very different products use the same words, and the legal side is often left out. We built SpiderPages to give a plain first view: what each tool does, which job it is mainly for, and what to check before you rely on it.
The site is for the people who do the work, such as data engineers building pipelines, growth and pricing analysts tracking markets, and researchers collecting pages for study. We keep descriptions short and factual, mark what we couldn't confirm, and leave out scores we would have to make up. Tool makers can submit or claim a listing for free, and paid placements are always labeled.
We also leave out tools sold mainly for getting around blocks and CAPTCHAs, and we remind readers to respect site terms, robots.txt and privacy law, because that is where scraping projects most often go wrong.
How tools are chosen and described
A tool is listed once we have confirmed that its official site is live and that it does what our description says. Each tool sits in the one category that fits its main job, even when it covers several. We don't publish scores, rankings or prices, because prices change often and a score would be our opinion presented as a fact. We leave out tools whose main pitch is getting around a site's blocks, and CAPTCHA solving services are not listed at all.
Nothing here is legal advice. Whether you may collect data from a site depends on its terms, its robots.txt file, copyright, and privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA. Those questions belong with your own counsel.
Right now that is 61 AI web scraping tools in 10 categories, last checked 2026-11-04.
Makers can submit or claim a listing for free. A person checks every request before anything changes. Paid placements are marked Sponsored wherever they appear, and they never change what we write about a tool.
